A small mountain loop on the back is for attaching to your belt or to your backpack (with the help of a carabiner).

The holster is pushed into the minor loop at the top and bottom, so the holster cannot fall out while drinking.
It's a little fiddly work, but it keeps it bombproof :)

The pistol snaps correctly into the holster, so that it also cannot fall out.
